On Saturday, the first team away trip to Deeping Rangers was cancelled due to a frozen pitch. In order to get some minutes in the legs, the team arranged a friendly against West Bridgford at Ilkeston Town.

The Reserves maintained their charge at the top of NSL division one with a 10-0 mauling of second bottom side AFC Sandiacre Town on the 4G pitch at Kimberley Leisure Centre. Goals came from Lewis Deavin(4), Louis Fazal, Brad Mee, Bijan Pakrouz, Alfie Newbold, Tom Bailey and Luke Marshall.
