UP NEXT, The Reserves make a long trip to face Collingham FC. After a cup defeat earlier in the season, the miners will be keen on revenge.
Kimberley will come into the match with new energy after a 4-1 loss against Awsworth villa in the second biggest derby day over the Easter weekend. The reserves will be keen to maintain the space between themselves and Collingham as they aim for an away day win.
With Collingham on their home ground will that give them the confidence or will they crumble under pressure? Last Saturday Collingham suffered a 6-2 loss away at Keyworth. 2 minutes in saw a Keyworth goal from Callum Wolloch shortly followed by an 11 minute goal by Callum again. Another two goals for Keyworth followed quickly again 15 minutes in Thomas Siswick and 27th minute goal from Callum. 41 minutes in Collingham scored their first goal from Joshua Toynbee. Half time was a 4-1 lead for Keyworth. The second half saw 2 further goals from Callum in the 65 and 76 minute. Alex Mackinder gave Collingham their final goal in the 81st minute.

On Tuesday, the reserves played their second match of the Easter period as they welcomed Awsworth Villa to The Stag Ground. 13 minutes in saw a goal for Awsworth followed by a penalty to the reserves scored by Robert Da Silva in the 30th minute. Quite soon after in the 31st minute saw another Awsworth goal. Half time saw Awsworth lead 2-1. The second half saw a goalless second half for the reserves unfortunately the same cannot be said for Awsworth which they managed a further two goals in minute 50 and 72.

Collingham are coming off the back of a three game streak of losses. Losing to top of the league Cotgrave along with a loss against Woodsthorpe Park Rangers.
LAST TIME AROUND
The reserves faced Collingham in the semi final of the county cup back in March of this year. An early goal 4 minutes in for Collingham gave them the lead. The game was nothing but intense for both teams, with both teams wanting to progress to the final. Unfortunately the early goal is what saw Collingham progress to the final.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE OPPOSITION
The club was established in 1887. In 1995, a Senior Saturday team was created which joined the Central Midlands League Premier Division.
Having finished 14th in their 1st season promotion to the Supreme Division was clinched the following season by finishing 4th. The following 5 seasons were played out in the Supreme division with a best placed finish of 5th in the 2000/01 season which also included an appearance in the league cup final in which a goal in stoppage time gave Shirebrook Town the trophy in a 1–0 win.
The 2001–02 season saw entry into the FA Vase for the first time in the club's history. The 2nd Qualifying round match vs Meir KA was played at Station Road on 22 September 2001, resulting in a 2–1 win for Collingham. Boston Town were the opposition in the 1st round proper on 20 October, but the cup run came to an end after a 3–2 defeat. At the end of the 2001–02 season, the team from Collingham was disbanded and it was not until the 2015–16 season that the team returned to this level of football.
FINALLY
Both sides will want to take the points and push further up the table.
Kimberley need to win if they are to push themselves back into the top five
Collingham will want to win if they want to break their 3 loss streak
We expect an exciting and competitive match at Collingham’s ground
See you there!
